So the Whole Foods near my place now does smoothie bowls. Let that sink in.
The Whole Foods.
Down the street from my place.
Where I go at least once a week anyways.
Now does smoothie bowls.
Sounds dangerous, right? It is. Luckily, I wasn't around for long after this discovery before going away for a few weeks. I'm back now, and it's taken all of my will power not to gob one down.
What I'm trying to avoid. Feel me?
I had this bowl as my birthday bowl. They have two options - a berry smoothie bowl, and a green smoothie bowl. I, obviously, opted for the berry smoothie bowl.

They offer toppings including granola (local Terra Breads brand), banana, coconut, and more berries. I asked for just granola, because that's what I was feelin' that day. This was my birthday smoothie, so I got whatever I wanted. Hence, just granola.
This bowl was enORmous, and I am so here for it. It's like an entire smoothie in a bowl, then a mass amount of topping. I actually ended up splitting this with my boyfriend, because that's just how much I like him. Enough to share my smoothie bowls. He must be special. And the bowl must be huge.
The smoothie itself was better than anything I had ever expected from a smoothie stall within a grocery store. It was better than anything I expect from anywhere, to be entirely honest. It was creamy and airy in all the right ways. It had the exact texture and consistency that I hope for in a bowl. It shouldn't be just like a smoothie - toppings sink in a smoothie. This one was legit. It was so legit that I actually took a selfie video to try and get the most perfect picture with it. It didn't work, and here's the evidence:

(Also note the amazing seashell necklace I got for Christmas - I adore it, and it had to be featured too.)
I can't give a full review on toppings, since I just got the granola. But the granola was super tasty, and I have since purchased it on it's own to put on bowls that I make at home! As the other toppings are pretty standard, I think it's safe to say that they would also be delicious.
Banana rating: 9.5/10
Would I go back: in case it's not obvious, yes of course I would.
